Getting a message "Need admin approval" while signing in with Office 365 credentials to Cisco Cloudlock
When you add a new user to Cisco Cloudlock with Office 365-based credentials, the authenticating user may run into the below issue based on pre-existing settings in Office365:
The above screenshot implies that the user is trying to sign into Cloudlock via Office365 using OAuth, and your organization has restrictions setup on Azure AD which might be causing this issue.
Solution:
- Log into the Azure Portal: https://portal.azure.com/ - You must log in as an admin
- Next, click on Azure Active Directory in the left-hand menu.
- Next, select Users. Then, select User Settings. You will see a section labeled App registrations. You must select Yes to allow new permission grants to apps, like Cloudlock for Office365.
- This should now allow the user to log into Cisco Cloudlock with Office365 credentials.
